Religion:
*How did you gain your testimony of the Gospel? Write your testimony.
I feel like this is a loaded question, because I don't feel like I have fully gained my testimony yet. I feel like its consistently a work in progress. I will say that I have gained a testimony is so many different ways most of which were very difficult and trying times in life. I also have gained a testimony from some of the easiest and most beautiful times in life. Its a ever changing ever growing combination of really great experiences and really hard ones.
So, here's part of my testimony:
I know that prayers are answered. I know that our Heavenly Father knows us all so personally and has an amazing plan for each of us, that is so amazing we can't even imagine it. I believe in life after death. I believe my loved ones that have passed can see me and my family and are very close to us. I believe that if we ask for help we can receive it. I believe that Heavenly Father will only gives us trials that we are able to handle, or he won't let us fully understand our trial until we are able to handle it. I know that the values the church teaches are for our benefit and go above and beyond just obedience. I believe that good things are waiting for all of us, and that hard things are too. I believe that Heavenly Father provides us with answers and directions when the time is right, and not when we think we are ready for it. I believe in the power of prayer. I have felt answers and have had so many undeniable experiences of answered prayers. I believe that Heavenly Father expects us to help answer our own prayers. I believe the church is true. I believe the Book of Mormon is a powerful book full of guidance and direction. I believe in the power of the priesthood. I believe that families can be together forever. I believe the temple is the house of God and that angels are there all the time. I believe that I am a child of God, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
*How has the Gospel and knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan helped you in your life?
In so many ways. Sometimes I think living the gospel is hard and that it takes so much work and time, but I am so glad to have it in my life. I know that the standard and values that I am taught have shielded me from a lot of heart ache and grieve. I think the number one way the Gospel has helped me is that it brings peace into chaos.
*What ordinances have you completed? (Baptism, Blessing, Endowment, Sealing, etc.) Describe the day, circumstances, who was there, any advice you were given, how you felt, etc.
I was blessed as baby. I have been Baptized. I have received my endowment, and Sam and I have been sealed. Most of those days are a huge blur to me. I think the thing I took most out of my experiences and the advise I would give is that months and years after each of those experiences they have continued to mean more to me with time. When each happened I felt overwhelmed and didn't really understand it, but as time as passed it means more and more to me.
*What callings have you had? Which were your favorite and least favorite? What did you learn from them?
I know I have been in young women presidencies, and camp groups. I have been in charge of the bulletin board, and now I am a primary teacher. I loved being in charge of the bulletin board, and I love teaching primary. I learned that I have a lot to learn.
*What is your favorite scripture/hymn/Conference talk? Why?
I went to EFY as a teenager and when I was there I read in the book of Mormon (like the actual book not the entire book) and I just loved it. I marked it all up and I think I re-read it 4 or 5 times. I love the primary song I love to see the Temple and the hymn Praise to the Man.
*Did you serve a mission? (See the "Just for RM's" tab on top for more in-depth questions!)
Nope, no mission for me.

More Personal History
Personality:
*What kind of personality do you have? (Shy, outgoing, calm, stressed, etc.)
I am pretty outgoing, but I can be really shy at times. I don't think I have a very stressed personality, I try to avoid stress.
*How has your personality changed over the years? What made it change?
I think I have become more relaxed the older I get. I am not so crazy and loud as I use to be. I am still working on the loud thing though-- I am convinced I just have a louder voice. I am also trying to be more thoughtful... like spend a second or two longer thinking about things before I say them, however I am still a work in progress on that one. I think that is one of the biggest things I don't like about myself, is that I say really dumb things sometimes. It really annoys me.
*How well do you associate with others?
I feel like I can go either way. Sometimes I work really well wither others, and other times I feel like I get really irritated and frustrated so easily. I think I have a few triggers and once those have been set off, I just have a hard time changing my attitude. I am also working on that.
*What makes you nervous/happy/angry/surprised/scared/etc?
I get nervous in situations where I can't predict the outcome. I also get nervous and anxious when I feel helpless. I love when people are kind, just to be kind. I love when people are thoughtful and considerate of others. I get really angry when people are closed minded or inconsiderate. I also don't like when people put themselves above other people, its so off putting.

I am kind of getting tired of personal history-- but here goes
Around the World:
*What major world events have happened in your lifetime?
I was in 9th grade with the Twin Towers were attacked on 09/11/01. That was pretty traumatic. I feel like there actually has been a lot of violence world wide in my lifetime. In my area, we had two pretty major floods and one bigger earth quake (so far).
*Has it affected who you are now?
Well, September 11th has really changed how we fly and travel. It has made terrorism really real. The flooding has made me realize that I don't want to live by the river.
*Who was the President when you were born? Who is it now?
I actually had no clue, but after googling it I found it it was Ronald Reagan.
*What natural disasters have you been in?
See above.

Personal History Continues
Growing up, early years:
*Where did you grow up? Describe it.
I grew up in Washington, Utah. I LOVED IT! It was probably one of the most perfect places to grow up. We lived by the city swimming pool, close to the baseball fields, and soccer fields, and school. Its hard to describe, but just imagine perfect and that's what it was.
*What was your earliest memory?
I have no idea.
*What games did you play as a child?
We had just a fun group of kids in our area. We use to play night games a lot (like capture the flag, dare base, soccer, kick ball). We use to build huts a lot. We also liked girly things like playing dress up and barbies and house.
*Where did you go to school?
Washington E.S.
*Who were your friends?
Kensey, LaRaine, Lee, Sean, Jace, Cherry
*Who were your favorite teachers and why?
I loved Mrs. Hammond, and Mrs. Weller.
*What were your chores?
We didn't have set chores. We did whatever my mom told us we had to do. I remember we would always have to clean our rooms and put our clothes away.

Personal History Continued
Celebrations:
*What are some of your personal and family traditions for each holiday? (New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Easter, Passover, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, etc.)
I feel like we have too many traditions to name them all, so I will just name a few of my most favorites.
Christmas: I love to go to Grandma C's and have dinner and do our family program. I remember talent night was so fun. We would also make gingerbread houses. I LOVE making gingerbread houses.
Fourth of July: We always eat See's Candy.
Thanksgiving: We always switch off years with family. When we are with the Cardon's we love to shoot marshmallows at each other and hang out as a family.
Memorial Day: We always would help my Grandma M with yard work. Since she's gone now I think we should switch that yard help over the Weldin house... it sure could use some TLC.
*How do you celebrate adult's birthdays?
I love birthdays, and the bigger the better. My sisters and I are trying to start a birthday trip idea. I would LOVE if we could keep that up.
*How do you celebrate children's birthdays?
No kids here, but I know when we do have kids their parties will be crazy because I LOVE to throw parties.
*How do you celebrate your anniversary?
We usually go to dinner and do whatever we want to all weekend. I kind of hope we can make it tradition to go to Cali every year. We did that this year and it was SOOO fun!

Getting Started
So, here's the start of my personal history. Some of the questions I am not going to answer because this is still the internet and I really don't want to get too carried away here. So, I will start by picking some sections and answer the ones I want to:
Marriage:
*How did you meet your spouse? Was it love at first sight or did it take some time?
We started hanging out with the same group of friends toward the end of high school. I remember going to hang out with his friend a couple of times and not really liking him, in fact I liked his friends. I kept going to hang out and one night he ended up being really funny, and the rest, as they say, is history.
*How long did you date before you got engaged? How long was your engagement?
We dated for 3 years-- almost to the day. We got engaged on March 27th and we got married June 28th.
*How did you get engaged? (The story.)
Sam's sister was really sick and had been lifeflighted to PCMC. We were at Sam's house cleaning up the basement before we took off to go see her, and he asked me while we were getting ready. It was really sweet.
*Who did most of the wedding plans? Who helped?
I did most of the planning- my mom and Sam's mom helped A LOT! In fact, Sam's mom sewed all the skirts that the girls wore. It was really sweet of her.
*Who were your bridesmaids/best men?
We didn't have bridesmaids or best men.
*Describe the details of your wedding: the colors, the cake, the decorations, etc.
It was a REALLY simple wedding. My colors were just bright colors. We had gerber daisies and lemon and limes as the center pieces. If I could do it now, I would do it SOOOO different. Live and learn.
*Where did your wedding take place? Who performed the ceremony? Do you remember any words of advice given?
We got married in the St. George Temple. I honestly can't remember the guys name. We had our reception and the Relief Society Hall in Washington.
*Who attended your wedding?
So many people. We are seriously so lucky to have so much family and friend support. I honestly can't remember everyone that came, luckily we did a sign in book. The one thing that I really remember is that my Uncle Tom came to the temple. We was really sick with cancer and the time, and has since passed. It was really special to have him there.
*Where did you go on your honeymoon? What adventures did you have?
We went to California. We sat on the beach, went shopping, and to an Angels game. It was really fun. I made Sam plan it and he did such a good job. The one thing I remember about after the wedding was that the next weekend was the 4th of July. My niece was dancing at the Stadium of Fire, and before we got married I agreed to watch one of my other nieces. She was 4 at the time. So, the first weekend married we had a sweet little house guest. It was so funny, I think that kind of set the tone for the rest of our marriage, me making plans and Sam going with the flow. Oh, and the week after that I left for New York for a week. Hahaha no Honeymoon Period at our house. It was perfect for us.

Personal History
I love documenting and keeping track of history. I love to look over old journals and scrapbooks. Its fun to see how far I have come- or where I need to improve. I found this thing on Pinterest (shocking right) that talks about writing your own history. The website is Here, but the questions to answer I copies below. I don't think I will answer them all in one post (or one day), but I will get to work on it. I was thinking maybe I should print these out and give them to my parents to do.... I would love to see their answers. I also think it would be fun to answer these questions like every five years. I mean, obviously some won't change, but some will and it would be fun to see what your answers were and how they have changed. Something to shoot for at the least.
