Funny gator

Sometimes I think Gator is a teenager inside. He has the hardest time waking up in them morning, he seriously reminds me of a teenager. He drags himself out of bed to go potty, then hops right back in and lounges for a few hours until he's good and ready to get up. I had to make the bed the other day before he was ready to get up, and he WOULD NOT MOVE... so I made the bed around him. Hahaha. Finally he rolled around and sat up, but not without a big YAWN and a look letting me know he was unhappy. :)

Racing

Hayes lined up his animals, then:

ON YOUR MARK. GET SET. GO!!

I have the cutest video of him saying on "Mark. Set. Go!" He is so funny. Oh and if I would let him only wear a diaper every day, he would be SO happy. (Actually, he would prefer no diaper, but that will NEVER happen. :) )

Grandpas Boots- getting dirty

The boys clean up

Sam was teaching Hayes all about cleaning up, so I had to document it! Hayes loves to help and I'm crossing my fingers that Hayes continues to love cleaning up. :)

The park

Hayes still loves the park as much as he always has, he just has never looks quite so grow up in the baby swings! Hayes LOVES to play at the park with the other kids, he loves to swing, he loves to get chased and to explore all of the outer edges of the park.

Taking selfies

After I get my phone back from Hayes I find a combination of photos like these, and photos of his legs. Hahahaha. He is such a funny kid!

The haircut

We finally caved and cut Hayes's hair and I pretty sure he aged 10 years instantaneously. He looks adorable and even though I hate that he looks older, I'm glad we did it. This new hair is MUCH easier to maintain.

Baby Cooper

When Kate brings Cooper down to hang with us, we have a constant struggle between Hayes wanting to touch Cooper and Hayes getting jealous when I hold Cooper. We love cousins and we love them even more when they come to visit.

Getting pumpkins

We started a fun tradition last year of getting our pumpkins for Halloween from our local Farmers Market, Frei's. It was a lot of fun to continue this tradition this year. Hayes LOVES pumpkins and everytime he sees them on people's porches he yells "Halloween!"

These two pics are our outtakes- the struggle is real to get a good pic with a 2 year old! :)

Sunday afternoon

When Sunday afternoons look like this, we all feel pretty good. If you can't tell, Sam is asleep on one end, Hayes is lounging on Gator watching a movie and Gator is fast asleep. :)
