I haven't watched Sam ride in a little while and I was super impressed when I got to go watch him last week! He's so talented, I am so proud of him :)

Jentrie Lou is now 11! I can't believe how time flies. This year she asked for a Giraffe cake-- and my friend Shannon really delivered again! Things were a little chaotic for Jent's birthday but I did manage to get some pictures of the most adorable cake ever!

I hope she had an awesome birthday! I hope she knows just how much we love her in our family and what a great person she is. Jentrie really has so many amazing qualities. She is so kind and looks out for people that don't always get included. She is super athletic and can literally fix anything. We love having her spunky attitude and adorable smile around. Love you Jentrie Lou!

Sam is such an old man. Today Sam is 27!! That seems so crazy to me. I feel like we are not old enough to be that old (if that makes sense). Sam's birthday was pretty low key this time around. Sam wanted some costa vida for dinner and lemon pie from Crowshaws... so thats what we had. For his birthday weekend he went to Lake Mead with a few of his friends and had the time of his life-- minus the accident. Its really funny now, but Sam got run over by a jet ski. They had a boat and jetski with them at the lake and they were filming each other riding. Well, Sam crashed and got run over by the guys filming. Luckily the life jacket he wears is more for looks and he hadn't really come out of the water yet so the jet ski mostly pushed him back down into the water and gave him a head ache. I have always said this but Sam is the LUCKIEST person I know. He wins everything and obviously cheats really bad things from happening (knock on wood).

When he called me and told me what had happened I really didn't believe him... He likes to mess with me a lot, but after I figured out it was real I was just glad it was him calling me and telling me-- and not his friends. I am SO glad he's ok... he must have a guardian angel. :)

I think Sam is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. He has so many good qualities and its amazing how his strengths are my biggest weaknesses. He chills me out and helps me try new things. He is a pretty happy guy and makes friends literally wherever he goes. He is so affectionate and always says really kind things. He is such a good uncle to our nieces and nephew and he really tries hard to make them feel special. He is an amazing wakeboarder and such a hard worker. I just love this guy!

I feel bad that I didn't really get pictures from this years birthday- but I stole some Lake Mead pics from his friends. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!! I LOVE YOU!!

Staelie is 8!! We had a really busy weekend with Brooke's wedding and Staelie's birthday, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Staelie is such a little sweetheart. She loves animals and decided that she would love to have a puppy cake for her birthday. So, my magic worker friend Shannon helped create a master piece. She was amazing! She also made the cake fade from white to red cake. It was so fun. We had a party at Alyson's house to celebrate. We are so happy Staelie is 8 and we can't wait for her to get baptized. We love you Staelie!

Brooke got married!! Yup, she is now Mrs. Watt. She got married on Friday April 13, 2012. It was so beautiful. She got married in the St. George Temple at 12 pm. Her reception was at the Opera House Social Hall and was amazing. She kept things really simple and they really looked so beautiful. We are so excited that Alex and Brooke are together for eternity, and that we get to be in their family. We can't wait to watch them build their lives together and start a family. We LOVE THE WATTS!!

Some of my favorite parts of Brooke's Wedding:
The photo booth! She had a photo booth there through her photographer and I think everyone had a blast! It was such a fun idea to keep people entertained.
Her candy bar. It was so pretty and fun with all pink and white candy ( plus I just love candy in general sooo...)
Her tables. Her tables were so simple and looked amazing. She did three different levels of flowers, really simple and different flowers on the tables with a cream cloth and a gold overlay. It looked so elegant.
Seeing our family. A lot of the Weldin's came in from Washington and Idaho and I LOVE seeing Sam's family. They are the sweetest people in the whole world and they are such a good time. It was fun to hang out with them over the weekend.

Well since our last blog decided to stop working, I guess its about time for a really big update. Since I never got a chance to post pictures of Brooke's bridal shower I think its about time that happened. So, here they are:

I seriously had the best time throwing this party. I was so happy to do it for such a sweet girl and I seriously cannot wait to throw another party. My favorite things were the center pieces, just simple pink roses in a clear glass vase. They turned out amazing. I also was THRILLED with the cake. My friend Shannon made it. She owns a cakery called the Cake Pan that she runs out of her house and she is one of the most talented people I have ever met in my whole life. What a fun day! (Oh and did you notice the AMAZING weather we ended up with?? Yeah we lucked out for sure!) Here are the details:

Food: Strawberries, Grapes, oranges, pineapple, cookies, cupcakes, celery, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, of course cake, and raspberry lemonade. I also made labels for the water bottles.

Take home gift: A small pink or white box with a lemon cake inside
