I was a little worried about this weekend. All of my family is gone and I didn't have anyone to hang out with. Luckily, I had my Hayesie boy and we filled our day quite nicely. Sam stayed a little later and let me go to the gym this morning, which was SO nice! I ran and felt really great! I lifted and I was so happy with how I felt. Then, I got home, Hayes and got ready for the day and set out to run some errands. We headed to Costco with the rest of town and actually found some good stuff. We picked up the most beautiful roses. Hayes is getting really good a picking out the best flowers, his future wife can thank me for that later! :)
We then went a played at the park, jumped on the tramp, played with cars and toys and had so much fun. We enjoyed our new Valentines decorations, got a soda, and then went and picked up Durangos. It really was such a fun day. Hayes passed out on the way home from Durangos though, so I'm little worried he is going to be up at the crack of dawn.
Some days I just sit back and think how blessed I am. I definitely don't feel like I deserve it. I have the sweetest most adorable little boy in the whole world. I have the hardest working husband. We have a home that's beautiful and reflects our family well. We both have great jobs that we both love! Sometimes I feel like I'm waiting for the ball to drop, like nothing can be that great. But then other times I think maybe it's just focusing on the positive being grateful for what we have, which makes everything feel and seem better. I'm choosing to think it's the later. Whatever it may be, I'm grateful. If today is any indication of what 2016 will look like, we are going to have a great year!
