Sam got off work at little early one day this past week. Hayes and I had already planned on going to the park, so it was fun to have Dad tag along. Hayes LOVED having Sam there and it seemed like he was "showing him around". He took him to all the places we go play and did what he normally does, almost showing Sam what we do at the park. It was really cute.
Sam was kind of crazy there. He kept worrying that Hayes was going to get hurt or bonk his head so he kept following him and trying to shield him from everything. I just laughed because I will watch Hayes and make sure he doesn't get hurt, but I don't like to stop him from doing everything. I like him to try things out and realize its not a good idea or that he doesn't like how things happen. I feel like he will learn better that way. Funny.
Hayes has gotten really brave and started going down the slide all by himself. He loves it and he especially loved that Dad was there to be SO excited for him. He loves people's first reactions to things. He could tell Sam was genuinely shocked he went down, and Hayes just ate that up.
