Like most times when I run the marathon, I struggled. I forget how much of a struggle it really is until I'm up there doing it again, and then it's like "Oh ya, I remember how bad this sucks". I'm sure its a good thing that I forget, so I'll keep doing it, but man, it sucks while I'm doing it. Luckily Kate really helped me through. I really just need to get my head under control. My body did great, it was my stupid head. But, all things aside, I finished and its done. I made Hayes this fun shirt to wear and I was very happy to see him at the end. He was really worried about me and kept yelling "Mama Mama!" I had a little issue with my blood sugar right after, so I needed a little while to recover. (Thus me laying down in most of the after pictures).
All in all, it was good and I am proud to say I completed my ninth marathon and my first marathon post baby. So, I'm very happy about that.
